Meyrin Cleper is an inhabitant aboard Station Leviathan who becomes entangled in the Death Conflict. She is featured in BlazBlue Chaos Aggressor.

Information[]

In the future of 2825 AD, humanity had recovered enough to continue several ventures into the unknown. One was space, which was started with Station Leviathan, a two mile long orbital platform that would've been the first foray into space travel since the disaster almost nine centuries ago.

However, that would not come to be. One of the researchers working on Leviathan, Taka Kisaragi, was the first to see Kisaragi's Comet come closer and closer to the Earth. Despite every attempt, the Fall of Kisaragi's Comet occurred, ruining the world.

However, Station Leviathan survived, and there were initial efforts to try and quickly solve what had just happened. The station's administrator, Jarvis Cleper, sent people back down to the Earth to control the situation, only for who he sent to be killed by newly emerging scavengers. After that, Leviathan became isolationist, keeping out of the affairs of what was happening planetside.

Meyrin was born during this time of isolation, growing up being taught the advanced knowledge of the researchers who had resided aboard the station. She also grew up looking down on the Earth, wondering what kind of place it is. She tried to learn as much as she could about it, despite her father's wishes to just leave the matter alone.

By 0018 CA, or 2843 AD, Meyrin is an active member of the station, able to operate the vast majority of the equipment on board, and knowledgeable on a number of topics either picked up or taught to her. The station learn of the conflict happening planetside, with Jarvis announcing that, no matter what, they won't get involved with it. Meyrin, on impulse, decides to take one of the shuttles to the planet, both to see what she could do with her knowledge, and to experience the Earth for the first time in her life.

The shuttle she took had just come back from exploring the edge of the atmosphere, returning with a strange object in a capsule for further research. When she tried to enter the atmosphere, the shuttle begins burning up after not being placed at the correct angle of descent by an inexperienced Meyrin. Attempting to do something so that she doesn't die, she went around the shuttle for some kind of solution until being thrown against the capsule, breaking it open. The strange object glowed and enveloped the craft, saving it, and morphing into a strange looking pole.
